Welcome to the Reploverse Community!
đź––Â What is the Reploverse
The Reploverse Community Slack is a place where you can join fellow merchants, partners, Replo team members, and other folks in the Shopify/Replo/E-commerce community. We'll share ideas, learn new skills, brainstorm, and stay connected. If you've never used Slack before, don't worry — you'll get a walk-through once you're added to the group.
🙋 Can I Get Support Here?
📚 Who’s Who?
Absolutely! When you’re in the Reploverse, you’re surrounded by hundreds of other merchants, many of which are veteran users. There are also quite a few of partners in here that can offer additional knowledge on specific topics.
If you have a question that needs immediate attention, you can always reach out to Replo Support 24/7 via live chat and [email protected].
Next to some users, you’ll find they are tagged with [Replo Expert] or [Replo Team]. Here’s what that means.
[Replo Expert] means they’re a certified professional who can help you build out pages in Replo. You can reach out to them directly or you can also reach out using https://replo.app/experts and we can make a referral.
[Replo Team] means they’re a full-time employee at Replo HQ. We’re hiring! https://replo.app/careers
👪 Community Guidelines
Be respectful of other people, respectfully ask people to stop if you are bothered, and if you can’t resolve an issue contact [email protected] or DM an admin. If you’re being a problem, you will be banned from the community.
Do’s
- Have your actual name attached to your slack profile, this is not a place for anonymous discussion.
- Add a profile picture if you feel comfortable with it! It helps folks put a face to a name.
- Tell others you think would be a good fit for our slack community and have them join!
- Share your feedback, goals, praise, etc.
- Share content that you think will be interesting or helpful for the community, this can include your store or services where appropriate and worked into natural conversation (but no spam or marketing).
Don’ts
- We have 0 tolerance for unsolicited promotional messages in DM regarding professional services, software, networking, etc. Violating it will result in an instant ban. Instead, use theÂ
#1-say-hello-public
channel, and if somebody is interested in your product or service, they will reach out to you.
- The one exception is if someone asks (e.g. in
#--job-board
) for a service, it’s okay to reach out via DM. Make sure you keep it on topic and reference the specific request they had. We recommend posting a message in a thread under the request as well, to note that you’ll reach out via DM.
- Don’t sign up with a temporary email address (from one of the many temporary email address sites). To prevent spam, users who sign up with a temporary email address or obvious generic test or batch email address will be banned.
- Don’t sign up multiple accounts with anonymous info (e.g. only first name and an email which references only your services, e.g. “shopify full ecom dev at gmail.com”). We value real people and real conversations, not spam.
- Please do not create additional channels without checking with the workspace owner/admin - you are free to connect directly, channels will be intentionally created around discussions and needs.
- Please do not create additional private channels or invite members who are not in those channels (as the admin, we can see private channels and do not want to have to remove you/them).
- Please do not pin messages on channels, especially not promotional messages - it’s not fair if some messages get special treatment by getting pinned.
- Please do not share content on multiple channels at the same time - instead, use the channel most appropriate for the type of content you’re posting.
#9-promote-your-stuff
is a great place to start, or #6-show-and-tell
works if you want to show off something cool you came across recently!
